I will leave this old blog up for some time during the upcoming 09 season but will not be posting any new photos or info here.

I am very excited about the NEW BLOG SITE :  CLICK HERE    This is one of many new changes for the new 09 season.  The new blog displays large photos, and has a outstanding user friendly comment section for our viewers. Vicki & Michael Post Session

I've said a bunch of times ... I love shooting these Post Wedding Sessions. It's the perfect complement of photos for the primary album or as a secondary book all by itself. Vicki and Michael made my job easy as we walked through the French Qter.   A special prop to my lovely daughter for being my part time "light girl".  This session ended fittingly on the river front ... since Michael is a captain for one of those monster size boats that travel offshore. Amanda & Deric

Amanda and Deric picked a beautiful cool evening to capture their engagement photos in the Jackson Square area. They have planned one big May wedding at the historic St Francis of Assisi church and the Armstrong ballroom. Here's a few shots from a great New Orleans engagement session. Mark & Lindsay Wedding

After starting the day at the Westin at Canal Place, Lindsay and Mark celebrated their wedding at St Patrick Church and the Riverview room. The well known band, Rockin Dopsie, put on a great show. Grayline & Lindsey Engagment

Here's a few shots from Lindsey and Grayline's engagement session. Grayline is the second fireman that I'm photographing for a wedding from this fall wedding season ... and the couples close friends drove their air boat to use in this photo session. (BTW, "Marsh Runner Adventures" is the charter company to call if you want to be put right on top of the redfish & see beautiful Louisiana swamplands at the same time)

Amanda & Brandon: Big Fun Wedding !

Amanda and Brandon said that they wanted to enjoy their wedding ... and they did just that ! The wedding ceremony took place at Our Lady of Perpetual Help and the reception was at Magnolia Plantation. It was also a pleasure working with Blink Video. Jason and Madaline Wedding

Jason and Madaline's wedding ceremony took place at St. Jane de Chantel. Their reception was held on the beautiful grounds of the Abita Quail Farm located in the heart of Abita Springs. We had a perfect October afternoon, great food, and music.  ( click on photo to open in larger window )

Engagement at Lakeshore

Last week I had the pleasure of photographing Lindsay and Mark's engagement session from their family compound in the beautiful Lakeshore subdivision in Slidell. From the photos I think that you can tell who the favorite "mouse" may be ... but more importantly, this couple showed interest in making sure that their favorite photographer will catch speckle trout from their land in the near future  :-)    - this is a very, very good thing -

Uptown Orleans Wedding

Saturday night I had the pleasure of documenting a classic uptown wedding. Natalie and Jimmy's ceremony took place at Holy Name of Jesus. Following the ceremony the wedding party took the St. Charles street car to the historic Orleans Club. A little rain did not slow this group down from partying all night. Wedding - Reception & a Big Hurricane Party

Just two nights before Hurricane Gustav made its way to our coast line, Debbie and Tom and nearly 150 family and friends celebrated one awesome wedding. Following a beautiful outdoor ceremony, this group partied all night to the sounds of New Orleans own Topcats. Here's a few moments from a great night. (click on photo to open in larger window)

Engagement & Graduation Weekend

This past weekend was big for Kim and Andy. After graduating from LSU they spent the weekend in New Orleans for their engagement session. Later this yr they will celebrate a beach wedding in Florida. Here's just a few shots from their session. ( click on photo to open in larger window )

Big 'Ol Partying Metairie Wedding

Last Saturday had all the makings for a memorable wedding ... Two incredibly nice people ... both families being LSU fans ... and they love to take pictures (what else can I ask for ?). From St. Francis Xavier to The Balcony, Vicki and Michael along with 200 plus family and friends celebrated a night of non stop dancing and partying. We are not finished yet as this couple added on a Newlywed Post Session to ensure some unique and classic New Orleans shots. Northshore Military Wedding

Rebecca and Greg celebrated a intimate Northshore wedding last weekend. The guys were dressed in full military uniform. From Our Lady of the Lake church to Bennedicts this group looked good and had fun. I also had a guest photographer with me as my assistant who not only help but captured some great shots ... Summer Engagement

Last week I had the pleasure of photographing Debbie and Tom for their engagement session. No summer heat slowed this couple down as we made our way around the park. Tom is from Ohio and seemed to have handled the New Orleans heat and humidity better than I. Here's just a few fun shots from many. Big City Wedding

After one plus year of planning, Jessica and Michael celebrated their wedding with a lot of family, friends, and a whole lot of dancing. After a beautiful ceremony at Immaculate Conception, the night ended at the historic Board of Trade. The "Mixed Nuts" kept this group dancing to the very end. A "Newlywed Post Session" will be the perfect way to add to many great shots for their Italian Wedding Book. Here's just a few shots from this partying wedding. Double Congrats: Engagement & New Doctor

Last week we shot Natalie and Jimmy's Engagement Session in the park. After dodging some rain it turned out to be a perfect evening for a outdoor photo session. This was also the final day of med school ... it will now be, Dr. Jimmy. Looking forward to shooting a beautiful October wedding in uptown New Orleans. Engagement Session on Fire

... Come 'on ... There were just to many pun titles to choose with this one ... "Red Hot Engagement" ... "Smoking Engagement" ... etc ... How many times will I have the opportunity to photograph a couple on a fire truck ?  Yes, Brandon is absolutely one of the good guys in this state. A fire fighter in the Kenner / Norco area. Despite the, ummmm, "Hot June Evening", Amanda and Brandon were great to work with. I will photograph the wedding this coming November ... should be a, well, a flaming good time  ( yeah, I think I over did on that one ? )   Here's just a few of many shots from their session. Double Hot French Qter Wedding

This past Saturday night Chelsea and Isaac celebrated their wedding & reception in the heart of the New Orleans French Qter. A beautiful courtyard wedding in the center of the Maison Dupuy Hotel. A smokin bride and groom, & a partying group second lined through the evening.
Here's a special rare one for ya ... Chelsea's wedding dress was initially worn by her Grandmother who is 80 yr's young. The dress looked perfect & made for some great pictures !  ( a special Thank You to Mona & everyone else who kept bringing me water throughout the night. Engagement with some Fun

I did a nice engagement session this past week with Jason and Madeline. This couple did not need to much direction for photos as they can make each other laugh with ease (makes my job a lot easier). I'm looking forward to photographing their October wedding which will take place on the North Shore. Here's just a few shots from last week. Engagement Session before Caribbean Wedding

I had the pleasure of photographing the engagement session for a beautiful young family. This coming August Tiffany and Ricky will celebrate their wedding as they sail over the blue waters of the Caribbean. Kaydan, their four yr old son was happy to get in some of the photos ... but I think his main interest was in trying to pet the ducks. Young, Fresh, & in Love, Engagement Session

This Dallas Texas couple, Adriane and Darryl, celebrated a beautiful candlelit wedding ceremony in the heart of the French Qter at Latrobes. The rain did not dampen the reception as this Texas crowd was treated to a true New Orleans Second Line w/ the Treme Brass Band. Newlywed Post Session, Jeff & Lindsay

Here is one of my favorite shots from Jeff & Lindsay's newlywed post session. I love doing these sessions as there is no tight schedule to follow, no wedding day pressure ... It's a great opportunity to capture some unique shots that look great in our Italian Wedding Books.

Engagement: From LSU to New Orleans

Jessica and Michael drove from Baton Rouge to New Orleans for their engagement session and discovered the joy the of driving through our wonderful Orleans Parish I-10 traffic. Due to some nifty driving we were able to shoot a complete engagement session and create some pretty cool shots. Jessica and Michael will get married this coming July at the beautiful Immaculate Conception Church. I'm looking forward to shooting the formals, the wedding, and a newlywed post session. This should be one awesome Italian Wedding Book !

A Beautiful Wedding

Everything about Lindsay and Tony's wedding day was just beautiful. Following a candlelit ceremony at Hope Haven Chapel, everyone celebrated the reception at the Tournament Players Club resting on the edge of one of the finest professional golf course in America. As a photographer I was blessed with amazing photographic light situations throughout the day.
